Myndir og minningar sem hafa þýðingu
Auður sýndi okkur fjölskyldumyndir af sér, foreldrum sínum og systkynum. Eldri myndinn sýnir mynd sem tekin er af fjölskyldunni í Neskaupsstað 1927 og sýnir Auði, foreldra hennar og tvo eldri bræður. Hin myndin er tekin í Reykjavík 1963, og sýnir hana og systkini hennar. Hún segir okkur sögunna af því þegar eldri myndinn er tekin, þar sem sérst í hvíta stóla, en ljósmyndarinn sem kom frá næsta bæjarfélagi notaði þá mikið í myndatökum á fólki og sjást stólarnir í mörgum fjölskyldumyndatökum á austurlandi frá þessum tíma, sem er skemmtileg staðreynd. Henni finnst einnig gaman að sjá hvað fjölsyldusvipurinn helst innan fjölskyldunnar.

Pictures and memories that have a meaning
Auður showed us family pictures of her and her parents and siblings, the older picture was taken in Neskaupstaður 1927 and shows her, her parents and two older brothers. The other picture is taken in Reykjavík 1963, and shows also her, her parents and siblings. She tells a story of the first picture taken, in the picture you can see white chairs, that where used by the photographer that came from the next municipality and offered his services to families in the town. These chairs where in many family pictures taken these years in the east of Iceland, and that is a fun fact. She also said that she likes to see the resemblance between generations in the family.
